Our Small Group Ministry

We are striving to become a church of small groups

where no one stands alone.

A Small Group is a great way to connect at MCC. Lasting friendships are often made and it is a time to study God’s Word in a home setting. Small Groups consist of six to twelve people who meet together regularly in order to build friendships, encourage each other and discussion of how the Bible connects to our daily lives.

We have many different Small Groups meeting in neighborhoods throughout Cheshire County. They are all unique, but built on the same principle

… we need each other and we are Better Together

If you’re interested in finding a group to join, call Ron Ferguson at 352-6816 or email rjfergla@earthlink.net

Journey Through the Bible

This small group is open to anyone interested in participating in a discussion led by Garth McGrath on the current, weekly readings from the Chronological Bible.  We will meet at the ministry center on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 7 - 8 PM.

Soul Friends

We need companions on the Christian journey to help us know ourselves and God in deeper ways.  We cannot progress very far on that journey without the help of others.  We will explore various spiritual disciplines, practice the art of holy listening and discuss ways to encourage one another on our spiritual journeys.  We will meet from 6:30 - 8:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month, here at the ministry center.

Sunday Evening Small Group

This small group is open to anyone who would like to attend a book discussion about various "Christian Classics" that will be read together.  We'll meet at the Red House (adjacent to the ministry center) at 6:00 PM.  The first group begins on Jan. 17th.

Adult Christian Formation Classes

We have classes that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. These classes are designed to help us connect in meaningful ways to one another and grow in our relationship with God.

Adult Formation Class: January 10 – February 21, 2010

Fireproof your Marriage  ~ This six-week study is designed with a format that integrates key Scriptures, movie clips, devotionals and thought-provoking discussion questions to challenge couples to grow spiritually and relationally. The class will be lead by Mark Bromley. Space is limited so you will need to sign up by emailing Ron Ferguson at ron@monadnockcovenat.org or calling the church office 352-6816. This is one of two adult classes that will be offered during the winter 2010.
