Garth and his family, which includes his wife, Nancy and their children Connor (25), Sarah (21), and Jordan (19),
are natives of Michigan. Garth is a
graduate of Albion College
and Fuller Theological Seminary. He has served in pastoral
ministry roles in Covenant churches for the past 25 years.
He was Pastor to Students at Modesto Covenant Church from 1985 to 1990, and
Associate Pastor at Thornapple Covenant Church in Grand Rapids, MI, from
1990 to 1998. There he specialized first in youth ministry and then
in adult ministries.
Garth’s greatest passions in ministry are to
invite people to experience the present reality of the Kingdom of God, and then to encourage
people to use their gifts and abilities for God’s glory and their
neighbor’s good.
In his free time, Garth
enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading, rock climbing,
and surfing year-round with anyone who will join him. He and his
family make their home in Swanzey, NH.

Ron
left Colorado
and showed up at the church in July 2007. In addition to bicycling,
hiking, and camping in Colorado he also squeezed in studies at Denver
Seminary in Spiritual Formation. He has a passion for teaching and
helping people on their spiritual journeys. He would have taken more
classes at the seminary but his wife told him he had enough education and
to get back to work. Going to school has become somewhat of a hobby for
Ron as he has four graduate degrees. He claims that his fourteen plus
years of post secondary education is a payback for all the time he spent
goofing off the first twelve years of school.
Besides
outdoor recreation Ron also likes to read. A hobby he picked up
while in Colorado was finding golf balls at a course just a three minute
walk from where they were living. While on early evening walks Ron would
hunt for golf balls while Jan, his long suffering wife, did bird
watching. By the way, did I mention that he does NOT golf?
Each
fall Ron cheers on the Ohio State Buckeyes and very much enjoys their
games.
Ron has
been married to Jan for nearly twenty-eight years and they are the
parents of twins. Their daughter Jennica died of cancer when she
was eighteen. Their son Aaron is married to Lindsay and they along with their
children live in Missouri,
where he is a Sargent in the Army.

Donna,
her husband and three children moved to Keene in June of 2004.
They
moved from Texas and although New
Hampshire was never really on their radar,
they have all come to appreciate
the beautiful Monadnock Region.
Donna has a passion for children and has been involved in some sort of
children's ministry since she was a teenager. She even co-owned,
directed and taught preschool for several years after leaving her career
as a Telecommunications Manager. Before joining the staff at MCC,
she was a very busy "stay at home" Mom. Although, her
husband would disagree with the stay at home part. She has enjoyed
spending time with her three children and watching them grow each
day. Her greatest joys in life are being a wife and a
Mom.
Donna volunteered at MCC in the children's ministries for two years and
has been on staff since June of 2007. She loves watching and
helping the children grow in their relationships with Jesus
Christ.
Donna spends a great deal of her spare time attending her children's many
sports activities, music lessons and school events.
During baseball season, you will find her at the ball field cheering on
the team, keeping score or working the snack shack. She is a
loyal fan of any team that her children are a part of and tries very
hard to make every game or competition.

Crystal is a
so-called "native New-Englander" having lived in either Vermont or New
Hampshire her whole life. Her early years
were spent on a dairy farm in northern Vermont, which her family
operated. Her first "paying" job was actually milking
cows for a neighbor across the road.
Crystal met her husband Steve
while attending college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While in
college, Crystal and Steve were involved in several musical groups.
Singing together in churches and many other venues was an enjoyable
activity they shared together.
She enjoys reading as a hobby
and Philip Yancey is her favorite
writer of spiritual topics. If you have any great books to
recommend, let her know! Crystal is also a loyal and true Boston Red
Sox fan as well as a New England Patriots fan.
Crystal and Steve have three
daughters; one is a graduate of Gordon College and one is a current
student at North Park University.
They also have a daughter who is a recent high school graduate.
They have a dog, Bobby, whose favorite past-times are eating and
barking.
